A Vehicle Speed Sensor(VSS) can fail gradually or suddenly. At a minimum the speedometer and odometer will cease to function. But most newer cars rely on the speed sensor for a lot of other systems and will activate a 'limp home mode' if the speed sensor fails and could affect things like the ABS system and the transmission.
Broken engine fan temp sensor.
I believe you are seeing your Oxygen or 'O2' sensor. It measures the ratio of oxygen in the exhaust and sends the info to your car's computer while you are driving. If the O2 sensor is bad your car can run poorly. It is one of the more important sensors on you car.

This indicates your ABS has a problem. Could be broken wire, a misaligned sensor or a number of other things. You need to go to your agency to get it checked.
Answer: If its a high-pitched squeak, it sounds like the wear sensor on the inner brake lining.
Track blocked/damaged. Faulty stress sensor. Needs recalibration/reprogramming. travel-cam stop sensor/node broken/moved. Could be any of these.
Ran out of gas, failed alternator, crank sensor, cam sensor, PCM, timing belt, ignition coil, fuel pump, broken wiring,
The best way for removal is to wiggle the sensor while pulling upwards. This speed sensor is known to break during removal, if it does it will have to be drilled out to remove the broken piece.
Assuming that the brake pads were just changed and the sensor is still on, Perhaps the sensor wire was broken during installation causing the sensor to stay on. Happened on my 2001 a4.
If the speed sensor is broken several things can happen. The speedometer will not work and the transmission may not shift correctly.
I've had a similar problem with my 92 grand marquis. I had to change the mass air flow sensor and replace a broken vacuum line. after that my car ran better than it ever did.
try tracing the wiring if an electronic speedometer it might have broken by the trans.
If normal movement meaning driving the car then YES
A car parking sensor is of great help - especially when driving a large car. During parking it indicates when the own car is getting too close to the other parked vehicles.
Ran out of gas, failed fuel pump, water in the gas. Alternator, crank sensor, cam sensor, computer, coil, broken wiring. No oil in the engine and engine seized, overheated to the point of ruining engine.Ran out of gas, failed fuel pump, water in the gas. I have a 1998 Ford Thunderbird that is overheating only during intown driving. In testing, I noticed that the fan is not kicking in when the temp is running hot. Where do I find the temp sensor and the fan relay?
Possible causes include a failed cam sensor, broken wiring, broken timing belt, failed computer.Possible causes include a failed cam sensor, broken wiring, broken timing belt, failed computer.
