If you mean the fuel pump assembly yes. Fuel assembly is vague. But I assume you are referring to the fuel pump and float assembly that lives in your gas tank. There was a recall on some of the Xterra's because the wiring to the assembly was not protected well, the wiring would break and cause the Xterra's to die while driving without warning or you would come out to start your car and it just wouldn't start. You can call a dealer and give them your vin # to check and see if this recall has been performed on your vehicle.

Open the hood and look at the back of the headlight housing. Lift the wire clip up and back (toward the engine) to release the bulb assembly. Remove the wiring harness from the base of the bulb and plug in the new one. DO NOT TOUCH THE BULB with your finger as it will cause it to burn out quickly.
What would cause the 1995 Nissan Pathfinder not to go in forward or reverse?
Code P0505 on a 2001 Nissan Xterra indicates an issue with the Idle Air Control (IAC) system. To fix it, first inspect and clean the IAC valve and its passages, as carbon buildup can cause malfunction. If cleaning doesn't resolve the issue, check the electrical connections and wiring to the IAC for any damage or corrosion. If those components are functioning correctly, consider replacing the IAC valve.
It could be freon, it could be various other things.. Have your freon checked first there may be a faulty thermister behind your glove box . it regulates the temperature of the a/c...be sure your freon is up to specs before you begin troubleshooting the system

If your Nissan Xterra's AC is blowing hot then cold, it could be due to a few potential issues. Common causes include low refrigerant levels, which can result from leaks, or a malfunctioning compressor that fails to circulate the refrigerant properly. Additionally, issues with the AC system's blend door or temperature control may cause inconsistent airflow. It's best to have the system inspected by a professional to diagnose and resolve the problem.
