A head gasket replacement should definitely be covered under a power train warranty. As long as the dealer does not find a cause for the failure and attribute it to poor maintenance or something else that you could have done to cause the failure.
The engine control module is covered in the powertrain warranty for your Kia. The engine control module should be covered for 100,000 miles.
Changing a valve cover gasket really has nothing to do with an engine starting or not. You need to check your power and gas for problems in starting.
Bad head gasket? Cracked Head? CRacked block?
YES it can, especially if one or any of the 4 cylinders have been affected
You have to be more specific brother, I am currently working on a 2002 Impala. There is a upper and a lower intake gasket kits. I am replacing the lower due to it leaking coolant. You have to take apart the upper intake and everything attached to it, that includes the power steering reservoir, the alternator bracket, the distributor power pack, the fuel injectors rail assembly and both the valve covers, yes it's a pain in the lower back just to get to the bottom of it literally, unless you are professional, you need to memorize all the bolts and nuts that have to be removed. I am helping myself by taking pictures with my digital camera. I am not done yet, since I work on it only on my time off from work and if the weather allows it. But I am ready to assemble it back. I hope this helps out.
It should, but that depends on the manufacturer and dealership. * Most powertrain warranties define "powertrain" as internally lubricated parts of the engine and transmission.
If the power steering rack is leaking, it is likely an seal or a gasket. Replacing the seal or gasket should stop the leak.
Head gasket
Most power tools have at least one year warranty.
That would be an extended power train warranty
Doug Sloan was the voice of Prince Gasket in "Power Rangers."
Replacing the hose would be best.
No. There can not be any. The warranty can be for specific time period.
The new Master Mechanic power tools have a 3 year warranty.
No it does not give you better gas mileage, all it does is helps with any loss of horse power and white smoke coming from the tailpipe due to burning antifreeze.
To replace the garbage disposal gasket, first turn off the power to the disposal. Then, remove the disposal unit and old gasket. Clean the area where the gasket sits and place the new gasket in position. Reinstall the disposal unit and turn the power back on.
I would say YES. But that would be debatable. Ask and see if they cover it. Just for the record I have to say that I have never seen a starter covered by a power train warranty, they really only cover the engine and maybe the transmission if your lucky, the answer will be in the fine print of your agreement.
