LabrousteHenri Labrouste (1801-75) was the main influencer of Eugene Emmanuel Viollet-Le-Duc. You can see this from the works of Viollet-Le-Duc's, as he has used similar materials (iron, bearing masonry). Not only form the materials used, but also the designs. Labrouste was also interested in Gothic Architecture. An example would be the Bibliotheque Ste. Genevieve (large reading room) by Labrouste in Paris. In this building, you can see the arched shaped structures which were also used in Viollet-Le-Duc's work.
