Renaissance art characteristics were really different from the Medieval times. Depth was added, and along with depth was proportion. They no longer made a figure or person in a piece look the same size as someone or something that was supposed to be in a different spot. The study of the Human Body really influenced the pieces of different artists and sculptors. 'David' by Michelangelo is a prime example, as you can see the distinct muscles in his arms, and body. Dualism (Good vs Evil, Heaven and Hell, etc), was something that was portrayed often in different pieces. 'Judith and Holofernes' by Donatello is a good example of this. It shows Judith (good) killing Holofernes (evil). Symmetry is another aspect commonly used in renaissance art. DaVinci's 'The Last Supper' shows how each side of the table is symmetrical with the number of people on each side, as well as the windows in the back, and the panels on the side.
The artist skillfully employed aquatint to create rich tonal variations in his print, giving it a depth that captivated viewers. This technique, which involves using acid to etch fine textures on a metal plate, allowed him to achieve an ethereal quality in the landscape depiction. The subtle gradients in the work added a sense of atmosphere, making the scene come alive.

This is like asking how the sun warms the earth. De Vinci and Michelangelo were the Renaissance. They embodied the new thinking and they expressed this in their art and work. This was the "rebirth" of scholarship, architecture, and visual arts with the restrictions of earlier thinking gone. The dynastic families that supported them and commissioned them to create the great works of art that we view today. They didn't see their work as great and they were very poor people, but without them the art world and the Renaissance wouldn't have been the same.
