In the 20th century there were some sensational forgeries of Vermeer paintings.
Also Vincent van Gogh has often been forged.
There are Vermeer forgeries in the Boijmans-Beuningen Museum, Rotterdam.

What the artist hates or fears
Most of Vermeer's paintings depicted simple figures, often women, doing daily tasks in a typically Dutch house. These paintings are considered "genre paintings", portraying scenes from everyday life. Some of the most famous examples are The kitchen maid (c. 1600), showing a woman pouring milk, and The girl with the pearl earring(c. 1665), showing an ordinary Dutch woman.

The Von Dutch name is most know for making clothing. Von Dutch is a company named after Kenny Howard, an artist and pinstriper. Kenny Howard died in 1992. After his death, his daughters sold the name, and it is now a brand of clothing among other things.
Artists easels are most commonly made from wood, aluminum or steel. The wood that is most often used in the making of an easel is beechwood. It is just a matter of preference for the artist as to what they decide to purchase.

Assuming that we are using the word "stars" to refer to celestial bodies, the most famous artist would have to be Vincent van Gogh. He painted "Starry Night" in 1889. He was a Dutch post-impressionist artist mostly noted for his paintings.
