Homer Brothers Furniture in Chicago was founded around 1912 by five brothers, Joseph, Abe, Louis, Henry, and Jack who immigrated to America from the Ukraine in at the beginning of the 20th century. They first settled in Philadelphia and then moved on to Chicago where they made use of their wood carving and furniture making skills to start a business that lasted more than half a century. Their immigration story was similar to others of that time, with one brother (Joseph I believe) making his way over and then working to bring the others and extended family to America as they could afford to do so. The original family name was Ushomersky, and was shortened on arrival to the U.S.
Keith haring made bold colorful art. some of it he made into murals on city buildings, so you could say that one of his intentions was to improve our environment and make it a more beautiful place. A lot of his work focuses on people simplified down to just the joy of companionship and harmony in being with others, so you could say that he was trying to bring people together through his art. Other works of his he made, i believe, to spread awareness about aids, and try to find a cure. such as one piece with the inscription: Ignorance = fear, Silence = Death, Fight aids Act up"
They were called Artisans
There were many ways people worked to keep the community prosperous. Higher class people could have leadership positions, and they could also enjoy the works of art. The many groups of common people also helped. Some were very efficient farmers. Others were merchants who got to travel and trade. People could also be artisans. Some people were also athletes.
The artisans sold materials for clothing. These mateials were dyed or plain, silk or cotton. The artisans were privilaged in the way that they always had money to buy food whereas the peasants only could eat what they grew and a lot of what they grew went to the Daimyo for the Samurai.

Everything that exists in this world has intelligence which has to obey a higher law. As Chris was that higher law it would not have been difficult for Him to command the sea to bare Him up. (Hold his weight). If He can turn water into wine, if He can feed the five thousand with but a few loaves and fishes He can command the sea to obey.
As agricultural productivity increased, fewer people were needed to work in the fields producing food, These extra people who weren't needed to farm and could then become artisans.

Artisans and craftsmen, domestic workers, and field workers.
That depends on their position. They could be in command of no one, or as a Company Commander (for example) they could be in command of approximately 120 soldiers.

Artisans were often regarded with a mix of respect and disdain by the upper class, depending on the social context and time period. While their skills were valued for contributing to luxury goods and services, artisans typically occupied a lower social status than the nobility. In some cases, wealthy patrons would support skilled artisans, leading to a collaborative relationship, but artisans could also face exploitation and limited social mobility. Overall, their treatment varied widely based on regional customs and economic conditions.
The early agriculural civilizations had just about everyone helping farm or contribute in some way to agriculture. Classical empires had enough people and land so that food could be mass produced and others could become artisans or government officials because they didnt have to work on farms.
