No.
If you want to lay tile on top of anything other than concrete, you need to install a backer board like Hardi Backer. If the laminate floor is a floating floor (ie: Pergo) then you will have to take that all up first and then install your backer board.
If you don't install a backer board and the sub floor underneath the tile is able to expand/contract or shift, the tile may break and the grout will crack.

You don't, if you want your carpet to stay stretched and flat on your floor. You see, laminate flooring is not attached to your floor in any way. It floats. The boards are locked together, but if you pull up on the side of a board, it will detach itself easily. So if you attach tack strips to that laminate and then stretch a carpet over it, the tension of the carpet will very likely pull your laminate up at the edges. To do this the right way, you'll need to remove the laminate flooring (you'll find this VERY easy to do), install tack strips to the subflooring, install carpet pad, and then carpet. It'll stay like it's supposed to.
Laminate flooring can get wet, but only the top. Laminate flooring's sides, open seams, damaged areas, and bottoms can never get wet. If you install the laminate flooring in a full bathroom, you must take extreme precautions given by laminate manufacturers.
Wilsonart is top of my list.
Yes, you can put laminate over linoleum flooring as long as the linoleum is in good condition and the surface is properly prepared. It is important to ensure that the linoleum is clean, smooth, and free of any damage before installing the laminate flooring on top.
No, engineered hardwood and laminate flooring are not the same. Engineered hardwood is made of real wood layers, while laminate flooring is made of a composite material with a printed design that mimics the look of wood.
Laminate flooring is made of a synthetic material with a printed design layer, while engineered wood flooring is made of real wood with a top layer of hardwood veneer. Laminate is more affordable and easier to install, but engineered wood is more durable and can be sanded and refinished.
A fitted carpet means that the carpet covers the whole of the floor area. An underlay may be laid first and the carpet laid on top. The carpet is not attached to the floor.
The foam pads used for laminates are often moisture barrier's. By not allowing the moisture from the concrete anywhere to go, it will trap it with the wood parquet. Wet wood swells and will cause the laminate to fail. For this reason, laminate should not be laid on top of parquet which is on a concrete subfloor.
Laminate flooring stands up pretty well in a bathroom. It is a much better choice than true hardwood floors because it will not absorb as much moisture. However, the resin that is on top of the laminate flooring often times wears off and may not last as long as other choices such as stone, vinyl tile, or ceramic tile.
No, laminate is floating type of floor installed over an insulation pad. Hardwood floor has to be nailed, stapled or glued to the subfloor. If you do manage to install hardwood on top of laminate sooner or later your Laminate floor will expand due to high temperature or humidity and it will create gaps between hardwood planks.
There are several types of fake wood flooring available in the market, including laminate, vinyl, and engineered wood. Laminate flooring is made of a high-density fiberboard core with a photographic layer that mimics the look of wood. Vinyl flooring is made of PVC and has a printed layer that resembles wood. Engineered wood flooring is made of real wood veneer on top of a plywood base.
