Sounds like a problem I had years ago with a Ford I was driving. To cut a long story short I ended up find in a microscopic hole in one of the fuel lines. Not enough to make it leak but when suction was applied it did suck in air, In hot weather and when the engine got warm it would build up a vapour lock that stopped the car. The fuel pump however was on the engine side of the fuel line. replaced the fuel line and the thing worked great again.
fuel injector
To remove fuel injectors, first, ensure the engine is cool and disconnect the battery. Then, relieve the fuel pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls. Next, disconnect the electrical connectors from each injector, remove the fuel rail bolts, and gently lift the rail along with the injectors from the engine. Carefully pull the injectors out of the rail, taking care not to damage the O-rings.
Fuel injectors I'd assume. I have a fuel injector stuck open on my car and sometimes it stalls while accelerating. Check it out, maybe. These '93's have 100000 problems..
To clean or change the fuel injector on a 2003 Toyota Solara, first, disconnect the negative battery cable and relieve fuel pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and running the engine until it stalls. Remove the intake manifold or fuel rail, depending on access, to expose the fuel injectors. Carefully disconnect the electrical connectors and fuel lines, then remove the old injectors. Clean the injector ports and install new injectors, ensuring they are seated properly before reassembling the fuel rail or intake manifold and reconnecting the battery.
Have fuel filter or fuel injector checked..
The same thing happened with my a987 Chevy Celebrity 2.8L V6. Its problem turned out to be failed fuel injectors. I replaced 3 out of the 6 injectors and it has been fine since.
Dirty injectors.
The injectors may need cleaned. There may also be a problem with the carburetor not ejecting enough gas to the engine.
I also have a 94 350 that I built from scratch and have the same problem. Could be anything really. Out of time, TB rebuild, clogged injector. You may want to start with making sure it's getting good fuel pressure out of both injectors, if not you could either have the fuel pump going out or a clogged fuel filter. To remove a fuel injector from a 1992 Volvo 240, first, disconnect the negative battery cable to ensure safety. Then, relieve the fuel system pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls. Next, detach the fuel rail by unbolting it and carefully lifting it off the injectors. Finally, pull the injector out of its socket, being cautious not to damage the O-rings.
To change a fuel injector on a 2002 RAV4, first, disconnect the negative battery terminal and relieve the fuel pressure by removing the fuel pump fuse and starting the engine until it stalls. Next, remove the intake manifold or any components obstructing access to the fuel rail. Disconnect the fuel lines and electrical connectors from the injector, then remove the fuel rail with the injectors attached. Replace the old injector with a new one, reassemble the components in reverse order, and reconnect the battery.
