Hand washing is not always better than machine washing, but when it comes to stains it is likely a better choice. Machines use hot water, which can set some stains, and wash many clothes at once, which can re-deposit stains on another piece of clothing. Hand washing allows the washer to treat each stain depending on the type of stain and the fabric.
yes. a hundred times better. Actually not necessarily. Washing by hand works extremely well if done properly. In fact, a company named Dyson in the UK actually designed a washing machine which better imitates the hand washing action to get the clothes cleaner. People tend to assume that just because something is automatic it works better, but this is not always true. Washing by hand does a much better job of flexing the fabric. Of course, it's a lot more work too.
If you run the washing machine only when it is full, then it should use less water than washing it by hand. If you run the washing machine for one or two garments- you will be using more water than if washing it by hand.
To wash clothes obviously, but it also saves time. So you don't have to waist your time hand washing each one and hanging them up to dry AND ironing each one. Also the washing machine will give you a better clean than hand washing them. Hope this helped(:
I find the easiest way to get stain out of clothes is to apply washing up liquid to the stain before washing, either in the washing machine or by hand washing. I find this works really well and certainly much cheaper than stain removal products which do not always work
Not in the washing machine. You might be able to hand wash it in cold wash.
put it in the washing machine then iron it! or hand wash it
Many inventions have been labor-saving devices like the clothes washing machine. This in particular has changed people's lives for the better. Without a washing machine clothes have to be washed slowly and tediously by hand, then rinsed, then wrung out by hand, before drying. Truly a great invention.
Hand washing clothes with a soap bar is less effective than using a washing machine. Washing machines provide a more thorough and efficient clean by agitating the clothes and using more water and detergent. Hand washing may not remove dirt and stains as effectively and can be more time-consuming.
The first washing machine was invented in the United States in the early 19th century. James King patented the first washing machine in 1851, which was hand-powered and designed for home use.
You can hand wash top quilts, but be careful about machine washing them and only do so in cold water.
Using a dishwasher is faster and sometimes more cleaner than washing by hand. Hand washing saves money on energy because of drying, but it is time consuming. I prefer to use a dishwasher when I have a lot of dishes to do, but handwash if there are only a couple of dishes.
Because it took too much labour to hand wash clothing plus using a washing machine saves time
