Cotton satin fabric is a type of fabric that is made from cotton fibers woven in a satin weave pattern. This weave gives the fabric a smooth and shiny surface on one side while the other side is more matte. Cotton satin fabric is soft, luxurious, and has a subtle sheen, making it a popular choice for high-end garments and linens.
It is very possible to hot comb weave but only if you have weave that is of a higher grade. If it isn't you could end up frying off pieces and end up with inches left in the hot comb.
Well here's the beginning: the cotton is harvested and then goes through a process of cleaning, blending, and carding (and other steps) to remove debris and to orient fibers. Then the cotton is made into slivers based on a grade. Slivers are then spun using different spinning methods such as open end spinning or ring spinning and they are spun onto bobbins. From there the yarn is then woven or knitted into a fabric. There are different types of wovens such as plain weave, twill weave, rib weave, satin etc.
A fabric that is made up of a fine cotton materil is known as nainsook, this is a soft lightweight muslin that is used especialy for babies. Some common end-uses are infant's wear such as blouses etc.
The hair/track should be cut to the length of the braid, so it should "end" on its own.
