The best way to do well in your sorority interview, first and foremost, is to be yourself. Recruitment is not about everyone getting into the "best" sorority on campus... otherwise, why would there even be a recruitment at all? Or other sororities, for that matter? Be sure that no matter what, you stay true to what you ultimately want out of a sorority and that you don't compromise your ideals or habits just for the right letters. Furthermore, DO NOT talk about boys or partying. Nothing is a bigger turn-off than hearing some girl talk about all the hot boys she's dated and the many frat parties she frequents. DO NOT talk about how much you don't like the other sororities on campus; it's just not polite. Talk about what you like to do in your spare time, your hobbies, why you want to join a sorority and any volunteer efforts you've been a part of. Sororities are much more than social... they have philanthropies and rituals and sisterhoods. Be yourself, be classy and considerate, be upbeat and positive and SMILE. Don't get stressed out or upset if you're not invited back to a house during the recruitment process... chances are it wouldn't have been a good fit for you anyway. Adopt the attitude of you don't want a sorority that doesn't want you! Lastly, DO let the sorority know that you want to join their chapter! It makes everything so much easier on the "otherside"... good luck!
