I used plain old turpentine, a lot of 0000 (4X) steel wood and a plastic putty knife...
Wet the glue with turpentine, use the plastic putty knife to lift the glue, and use steel wool( 4X ONLY!) to remove remaining glue. Wipe down with English lemon oil
Lots of elbow grease too... I used the clear/yellow English oil to polish each board after the glue was removed.
I did 1 board at a time and scrubbed with the grain... I used lots of Bounty Paper towels( I use Bounty because it doesn't leave 'lint' as you finish and polish the project like the cheap paper...)
The floor looks like the back of a Martin guitar... even tho' the manufacturer said not to use any solvents... except their's I think...
It was lots of work, but worth it... Its been 5 months and the floor look great!
