Press the SEARCH/TUNE up button to cycle up through the minutes, or press the SEARCH/TUNE down button to cycle down through the minutes. I just bought one of these for my daughter. you have to use an object to insert into the hole and lift up behind the stem where the ipod sits. Lift up, do not pry, as you may damage the stem. what you are doing is lifting from the back of the insert, and that is how they fit in, from the front first, and snapped in place at the back Gage.
