U.S. Postal the stamp cancellation will have the city it was mailed from. U.P.S. or any other shipping company should have a stamp on it or a tracking number that would let them tell you where it came from. I would think they could tell you who sent it or at least the name that was given. If you are not insuring the package, I'm not sure you have to give a name when you send it, just pay for it. All you may get is the city it came from and from that possibly you would be able to figure out who sent it.
