To change the coolant on a 2003 F-150 truck, make sure the system is cool and open the overflow tank to let air in and help it drain more quickly. Attach a 12-inch drain hose to the drain spigot, located on the bottom of the radiator on the passenger side of the car. Loosen the bolt and allow the fluid to drain, then flush the overflow tank with clean water and let that drain also. Tighten the drain bolt. Find the drain plug on the block. Put a pan under it, loosen the plug, and allow it to drain. Tighten the drain plug and fill the system with antifreeze and water.

To change the heater core in a 87 ford f150 is easy. Just remove the glove box and then behind it there is 7 bolts. After you remove the 7 bolts then just remove the cover and behind it is the heater core. By far the easiest heater core I ever changed.

How do you change heater core in a 97 f150 w air auto 4.6l?

the heater core is located behind the dash on the passenger side of the cab. much of the dash has to be removed and shifted to get to the box that houses the heater core. the hoses that supply coolant to the heater core must be remove via the engine bay. it is somewhat of a lengthy process, but can be done with patience and time.

No

How do you change a heater core on a 1998 Ford F150?

There is no short cut or fast way to do this. The dash has to come out to access the heater box and replace the core. So the steps in replacing the heater core are to disconnect the heater hoses, remove the dash, to access the heater core cover on the front of the heater case and replace the core. Reassembly is in the reverse order as disassembly. Fill the cooling system with new coolant, and burp the air form the cooling system.
