You use iDVD to make a menu for the iMovie, and it will attach that to your movie. Insert a DVD, and a DVD icon will show on the desktop. Drag the file into the DVD. Right mouse click (or hold control and click) and click 'burn'. It will now play in your DVD player now that it has a menu to play it with. ---------------- I tried iDVD before, and it doesn't burn what I expect for. It did burn the DVD, but the DVD can't be play on my sony DVD player.
To share a movie created in iMovie: From the iMovie Share menu select iDVD. Your project will be passed to iDVD where you can select a theme for your menu etc. When you have set up your DVD select Burn DVD... from the file menu. Once the DVD is created it can be played anywhere that plays DVD - computers, TV/DVD Player etc. If it is only a short movie one of the other options from the iMovie Share menu will probably suffice. A small movie can be emailed, burnt to a disc and shared with other computers, or posted directly to a YouTube account. The iMovie software itself will not work on a Windows computer.

If music isn't playing in iMovie, it could be due to a few reasons. First, ensure that the audio track is properly added to the timeline and is not muted. Additionally, check the volume levels of both the audio track and the overall project to ensure they're set appropriately. Lastly, verify that the audio file format is compatible with iMovie, as unsupported formats may not play.

Burn to DVDThere are several file formats that will play on DVD players depending on the ability of your DVD player. I would check your manufacturer's information to see what type of files it will play. Most newer DVD players will play AVI or MPEG-2 file formats.
