The stylus may or may not be a permanent part of the tone cartridge. Rock the tone-arm up, without breaking it off, and look closely at the cartridge. (The part with the stylus hanging down from the front and wires connected to the back. Grab the base of the stylus and pull evenly forward --- parallel to the tone arm and outward from its pivot. If you're lucky, it should slip out of the cartridge. Write down any numbers you can find on the cartridge, then try and find a store that still sells these things. Maybe a high-end audio shop in a big city. Good luck.
The needle for a record player is called a stylus. It is the part that makes contact with the record and reads the grooves to produce sound.
You need to take the old needle or stylus off and take it to a dealer and replace it, you cn find this under the arm at the end of the arm.
Warped sounds from a Crosley record player could be caused by a warped record, a dirty stylus, improper tracking force, or a damaged needle.
A vinyl record player operates on a turntable. A record is put on the turntable and then set into a rotation by a tonearm. A stylus needle, which is at the end of the tonearm reads the vibrating sounds and plays the record.
The middle part of a record player where you place the record's hole is called the "spindle." It is a small, protruding rod that helps center the record on the turntable and allows it to rotate smoothly during playback. The spindle ensures that the record is properly aligned for the stylus to read the grooves accurately.
A Victrola is a brand of phonograph, a type of record player. It works by spinning a vinyl record on a turntable, while a needle (stylus) moves along the grooves of the record, which creates vibrations that are then amplified into sound through a speaker.

The phonograph, an early record player, was invented in 1877 by Thomas Edison. It used a handle which would turn the cylinder. The cylinder had grooves on, and when a needle (stylus) went over the grooves, it vibrated, producing a sound. However, the electric record player, although invented in 1925, it became popular in the 1950s, when more people had electricity.
I think it is stylus.
A stylus and cartridge are components of a turntable used in vinyl record playback. The cartridge houses the stylus (or needle), which physically contacts the grooves of a vinyl record to read the audio information encoded within them. The stylus converts the mechanical vibrations from the grooves into electrical signals, which are then amplified and played through speakers. Together, they are essential for translating the analog sound stored on vinyl records into audible music.
