There is no separate transmission oil on the Ozark. The engine and the transmission and the clutches are all lubricated by the oil you put in the engine. That's why it is smart to use the upgraded motorcycle oil they sell at the dealer. Its supposed to work better in transmission than regular oil. There is some 90W oil in the rear differential that is located back on the rear axle that needs checked and changed - but not very often. Look at your manual.

Under the quad, at least on the 2003 and 2005 suzuki ozark 250 quad runners, it is under the quad, there is a 17mm bolt that is the only bolt accessible under the quad, take that out and it drains it.
You do not change the trans fluid. It is a life time synthetic fluid.

The oil capacity for a 2003 Suzuki Ozark 250 is approximately 1.5 quarts (or about 1.4 liters) when including the oil filter. It's important to check the owner's manual for specific recommendations, as capacities can vary slightly based on the specific model and whether the oil filter is being changed. Always use the recommended oil type for optimal performance.
How do you change ML55 transmission oil?
The Suzuki Ozark 250 typically requires SAE 10W-40 engine oil for optimal performance. It's important to use high-quality oil that meets the specifications outlined in the owner's manual. Always check the manual for any specific recommendations or updates regarding oil types. Regular oil changes will help maintain the engine's performance and longevity.

The transmission fill plug on a 2000 Suzuki Alto is behind the drain plug. Both the plugs are located underneath the transmission.
I miss my old Intruder 1400 ... Great bike! The "transmission fluid" on a Suzuki Intruder is the normal engine oil, just as it is on most manual transmission vehicles. It uses the same oil from the crankcase reservoir, so every time you change your oil, you are also changing the transmission fluid. Just a quick money saving tip on changing your oil on this bike: you don't need to buy the expensive motorcycle oil filter. There is a standard automobile oil filter that will fit the threading and gasket of the Intruder. Since the automotive filter has a larger volume of filtration, it will actually work better than the more expensive OEM filter on the Suzuki.
