disconnect battery, drain coolant, remove fan shroud, fan clutch, and water pump pulley. remove water pump, clean mating surface on block. apply RTV sealant to both sides of new gasket, install water pump and torque bolts to proper torque, install pump pulley and torque to proper setting. Remainder of procedure is reverse of removal.

The fuel pump on a 2003 Envoy is changed by removing the gas tank support straps, lowering the fuel tank, and disconnecting the fuel lines. The wiring harness is then disconnected, the pump unbolted, and the removed to allow the new pump to be installed.

Drain the water from the cooling system. Remove the belt from the water pump. Remove the water pump retaining bolts. Reverse the process to install the new water pump.
GM vehicles do not use inertia/kill switches
Take it out and put a new one in!
