To connect a TV that is up stairs to one that is downstairs they would need to hook them both to the same input source with a splitter and cable. Both TVs will need to be on the same channel. Then what is shown on one TV will also be shown on the other TV.

With one box in the main room of the home you can connect different tvs with cable to the oher rooms. Unfortunately you are unable to view different channels in each room with this set up. If you wanted different channels in each roo you would need multiple receivers.

Actualy each recivers recives ' n' no. of channels. so the channel that u wants to view can be selected by the T.V. not by the Reciver. So we can view 2 different channels in 2 diffrent T.V with only 1 reciver.
