Vertical shower tile in a bathroom renovation project can create the illusion of height, making the space feel larger. It also helps to direct the eye upward, adding a sense of elegance and sophistication to the design. Additionally, vertical tiles can help to prevent water from seeping into the walls and causing damage, as they provide better water resistance compared to horizontal tiles.
Grab bars in a shower should be placed vertically or horizontally, with the horizontal bar at a height between 33-36 inches above the shower floor. The vertical bar should be installed near the entrance of the shower, about 9 inches from the corner. These guidelines help ensure safety and accessibility for users.
The purpose of a vertical shower door seal strip is to prevent water from leaking out of the shower enclosure. It contributes to the functionality of a shower door by creating a watertight seal between the door and the shower frame, ensuring that water stays inside the shower and does not leak onto the floor outside.

This depends on which assembly you talking about and how much of it and why. however, most of the time it is not possible, and removing a section of the wall in order to change a shower mixer unit has to be done

If the toilet and shower are in an upper floor then there is a PVC drain for both that will drain to either the sewer or septic. If there is a vertical piece to this, as there is in my basement, then you actually get some dribbling and running sounds from the water 'falling' down that vertical PVC. I get this same noise from the washing machine on the main floor draining down to the basement.
Standard shower is taken to be 10 gallons at 8.35 pounds per gallon and 60 degrees F of heating = 5,000 BTU per shower in round numbers, assuming 100% efficiency water heating.
If it's 200 degrees! Your heater wont go that hot. Trust me.
To replace a shower handle valve, first turn off the water supply to the shower. Remove the handle and trim plate, then disconnect the valve assembly. Install the new valve, reattach the trim plate and handle, and turn the water supply back on to test for leaks.
