This is not a major problem and happens with many rugs. It is caused by the tension of the wefts and is specially common in Persian Bijar rugs. Here is what you need to do:
1- Turn the rug back.
2- Prepare an iron on middle high temperature settings.
3- Get a clean damp towel.
4- Put the towel on the side of the rug and apply gentle pressure on it with the iron, making sure you hold it on each spot for about 10-15 seconds.
5- Repeat this procedure along the sides.
If you turn the rug back, it should now sit flat on the floor. There is the possibility that this problem will come back a few months down the road. For a permanent solution, have a professional repairman put leather straps on the sides of your rug. Almost all rug dealers can provide you with this simple repair work. I recommend that you take care of this ASAP as it can create additional problems for your rug. I hope you get your answer here.

If you mean "does not have equal sides" as in some sides can be equal just not all of them, then a trapezium or trapezoid (whatever you want to call it) fits those specifications. If you meant "does not have equal sides" as in each side must be different, then a trapezium can be manipulated to fit that specification. Just steepen or flatten out one of the sides that are not parallel as this should increase or decrease the length of the line. Note: if the angle of both non-parallel sides is equal they should be the same length.
