No, a birth certificate is NOT a proof of your identity: it is basically a proof of where and when you were born. Normally, a birth certificate can be used as a second form of ID, as long as the other form of ID is a picture ID, such as a drivers license, state issued identification card, and/or passport.
No they can't. A birth certificate is not proof of identity unless accompanied by an official ID issued by the state or federal government, such as a drivers license, state identification card, or a passport.
Not in the United States you cannot. In the United States, a voter registration card is not acceptable proof of identity.
To apply for an ID card, you typically need to bring proof of identity, such as a birth certificate or passport, proof of residency, such as a utility bill or lease agreement, and a completed application form.
A social security card is not sufficient proof of citizenship. Social security numbers are given to legal aliens. I don't think being married in the US is sufficent proof that you are a citizen either. A passport would be sufficient proof of citizenship. if you don't have that, a birth certificate or adoption records would be pretty good proof.
To obtain your child's birth certificate, you typically need to provide identification such as your driver's license, proof of relationship to the child, and possibly other documents such as a social security card or proof of address. You may also need to fill out an application and pay a fee. Contact your local vital records office for specific requirements.
To obtain a passport card, you will need to provide a completed application form, proof of U.S. citizenship (such as a birth certificate or naturalization certificate), proof of identity (such as a driver's license or government-issued ID), a recent passport photo, and payment for the application fee.
You have to have proof that you are who you say you are, like your birth certificate and/or social security card. You also have to have proof that you live where you say you live, like a bunch of bills mailed to your address.

To provide proof of eligibility to work, individuals can submit documents such as a valid passport, a birth certificate, a permanent resident card, or a work authorization card to their employer. These documents verify their legal right to work in the country.
To obtain a driver's license, you typically need to provide identification such as a birth certificate, social security card, and proof of residency.
Order a duplicate birth certificate. Most states have a website for that.
