ANSWER:A couple of different ways. I use sandpaper to remove glue off of wood. I use a wet cloth to get it off before it dries. On aluminum, use a paint scraper or putty knife.

ANS 3 - It depends on the type of glue - you haven't said which. -Aluminum is no problem, almost any glue will be removed with careful use of a thin blade ( eg.craft knife ). - Wood IS a problem. Very thin liquid glues will penetrate the surface and will be very difficult to remove.

Will woodglue stick to parchment paper?

Wood glue is not designed to adhere to non-porous surfaces like parchment paper. While it may temporarily stick to the surface, it is likely to peel off easily once dried, as parchment paper is treated to be non-stick. For best results, use wood glue on porous materials like wood or paper that can absorb the adhesive.

How do you remove dried adhesive from finished cabinets?

From what I know you have to resand them down?ANS 2 - if the cabinets were finished with polish, it may be possible to get it off with a razor blade or fine craft knife.Ans 3sharp corners on knives or razors can damage the surface of the cabinet, as will sanding. When repairing furniture or cabinets i remove as much glue as possible with a lightly dampened sponge. After the glue has dried I have a chisel on which I've rounded the corners, to keep from gouging the wood. This is good to carefully scrape off hardened glue while keeping surface damage to a minimum.
