To remove highlighter from a pencil case, first dab the stain with a clean cloth or paper towel to absorb excess ink. Then, apply a mixture of mild dish soap and water to the stain, gently blotting with a cloth. If needed, use rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball for tougher stains, but test it on a small, inconspicuous area first. Finally, rinse with clean water and let the pencil case air dry completely.
