try rit color remover. The item is ruined already and most of the time the color remover works well. I have used on thing such as white socks and underwear that has been washed with red or blue clothes. Works great. Or you can just bleach them although this can ruin delicate clothing.

Why do you need to separate dark clothes from white clothes?

You have to separate dark clothes from white clothes because if you don't the white clothes will turn colors. ------------------------------------- It is possible that the dyes may come out of dark clothes when they are washed and if this happens this dye can stain any light clothes that are sharing the washing water. How much bleach to use for white clothes?

Carefully follow the directions on the bottle of bleach. Too much bleach can actually burn holes in your clothes. With anything white, you need to remember that white is a color. This is important because fabric starts out as a gray color before it is dyed. If your whites are looking a little gray, it is because you have bleached or simply washed out the color of white over time! No amount of bleach is going to make a garment white if the color has been bleached or washed out!

How do you whiten clothes washed in brown water?

To whiten clothes washed in brown water, first, rinse them thoroughly in clean water to remove any residual contaminants. Then, soak the clothes in a solution of water and a whitening agent, such as oxygen bleach or white vinegar, for about 30 minutes. After soaking, wash the clothes again with a quality detergent in hot water, if safe for the fabric. Finally, air-dry the clothes in sunlight, which can help enhance the whitening effect.

How does bleach stain clothes?
