Well I haven't heard of any jobs you can't get with your cartilage pierced. Piercings and employment is a hit or miss thing, some places don't have any problems with piercing and others do. So I guess it will be up to you to go out and find out who's hiring people with piercings and who won't and has issues with piercings. It is less about having a piercing then what you have in the piercing. If you don't wear anything in it at work, they aren't even going to know. Some places don't like them for sanitation reasons, others the image it give customers.

Nope. Having both ears pierced is pretty common even in guys.

No I don't think that's possible, unless you think it is infected, you may need to talk or go see a doctor. :/ I pierced my cartilage and I'm not quite sure if it's infected or not.. So I'm not sure what to do myself, but I do know that it's not logical to die from it.

If you get it pierced, you have to have either a sold color or clear ring in. edit: who ever just said that... i have never heard of that before and i am a suffolk county piercer... i have never seen a "clear ring" lol... if this person means to use acrylic... then they obv dont know about the hazards of acrylic jewelry.... the laws about getting a cartilage piercing... is that the cartilage cant be pierced with a gun.. the gun shatters the cartilage and it can never repair its self... and of course... if youre under 18... you must have the tattoo and piercing shop paperwork notarized and your parent present (same parent for the notarization must be present for the piercing)...

Well, it depends on the headache and what kind of headache. I pierced my cartilage twice (not at the same time) by myself and sleeping with them in the first week or so was a little painful to my ear and side of head. If its red, and tender then, I would say yeah, that seems to be normal. But a regular headache? I don't know.
