A "proper" diagnosis will tell you wether it's right bank, left bank, upstream (before cat) or downstream (after).
I recommend you CHANGE YOUR MECHANIC... what diagnostic flow chart? He's supposed to know how to diagnose a cam sensor... a scan tool or even a multimeter should be enough tools to diagnose if the sensor is malfunctioning
it is a high voltage sensor...but i would like to know where it is located
Best way is to hook up an osiliscope and see the wave pattern Some of the scanners will do this also. Check the price of a new DIRECT FIT sensor first before getting this done as most shops charge for the diagnostic time and if you know which sensor is suspect it might just be cheaper to just change it and be done with it. If you don't know for sure TEST DON'T GUESS, you can spend a lot of money guessing at fixes...
Through the use of a scan tool, service manuals, and proper diagnostics.
Probably not. Would like to know the year, make, model, engine, history and pending diagnostic trouble codes.
don`t know jahgstrefdfsd
Here is what i know the (CYP) cylinder sensor is deep in the distributer and the easiest way to fix it is, Change the distributer. !
its a censor that's gone bad in your car take to a mechanic and have them run a diagnostic then you will know which sensor or call your local Chevy dealer
first of all you need to get a diagnostic done on the car to determine whitch sensor is at fault once you know whitch one it can be replaced
Come to our forum and ask there. I do not know about a steering wheel position sensor. www.trailvoy.com
The engine doesn't know when to fire the cylinders because it doesn't know where the cam shaft is. change the sensor.
i know what the part looks like but i cannot locate it on the engine.
