Obtain a steel rod about 5 feet long and secure a wooden handle on it. Tape one side of a cut electrical cord with plug to the top of the metal rod. Tape the other side closed. Poke the rod as far into the ground as possible. Plug the wire into a household outlet (or extension cord). The rod can be moved up and down or to another position. Us the wooden handle if you touch the rod. DO NOT touch the metal part of the rod.
