Place a bet that you know you will win on something simple.

As a child, you could offer to do household choice for your parents for a quick ten bucks. Offer to clean house or certain rooms, mow the yard, or wash the car. If you have elderly neighbors, you could also ask them if they need help with some house cleaning, car washing, or lawn mowing just for ten bucks. Elderly neighbors could always use some help doing daily chores, of course, you probably should not always expect to be paid for them if the elderly neighborhood is a family friend especially. But they will also understand that you also need help with some quick cash.

If you are ten years old, check with your parents before you do anything. But, you could:

• Ask if you can rake leaves for an elderly person ($20)
• Ask if you can do extra chores around the house for an increase in allowance
• Ask if you can cut someone's grass around the neighbourhood\
• Get a paper route.
• Hold a garage sale and sell your old toys or things that you don't use anymore
• Open a Lemonade stand (better in the summer than now)
• Winter is coming soon, you could shovel a driveway or two
