Rock shandy is a non-alcoholic drink typically made from a mix of lemon-lime soda, bitters, and sometimes a splash of tonic water. It is popular in various Caribbean countries and is enjoyed as a refreshing beverage. While some variations may include alcohol, the traditional version is alcohol-free.

He is a character (and the narrator) in a novel by Laurence Sterne, which is named after him. The novel is of a satirical and comedic nature. One of the distinctive things about Shandy is that he cannot keep to the point when telling a story, but digresses and never gets back to his original point.
