How do you make homade ice cream?

I love making ice cream and it is really simple, I use this recipe I found at the link below.

You can make ice cream in at least 3 different ways:

i) by hand

ii) using 2 zippable, plastic food bags or clean food tins (rolling technique)

iii) with an ice cream maker

You also have a wide choice of ingredients - with eggs, cream and milk (custard base), without eggs (gelato), with fresh fruit, sugar and water (sorbets).

Ingredient

1/2 cup of milk

1/4 tablespoon of vanilla extract

1 tablespoon of sugar

6 tablespoons of salt

ice

a container w/lid

a zip lock bag

STEP 1

Pour the milk into a boll with the vanilla extract and the sugar. Mix it together then put it in the zip lock bag.

STEP 2

Fill the container half way with ice.Then put all the salt.Mix the salt and ice together.

Put the mixer you made before and put it into the container with the ice.Seal the lid and shack it for 5 to 10 minutes. Then take it out and eat it.

Basic cookie dough is pretty simple, I keep rolls of it in my freezer for those days when I want/need fresh baking and don't want the fuss of doing the messy" work.

You will need:

2 Cups - Butter, at room temperature

2 Cups - Granulated sugar

3 Eggs at room temperature

6 Cups - All-purpose flour

2 teaspoons - Vanilla extract

1 teaspoon - Lemon extract

1 teaspoon - Baking soda

How to:

Cut 4 pieces 14" x 12" waxed paper, set aside

In a large bowl, cream butter & sugar for 4 full minutes. (don't skimp on the time, it makes a difference). Beat in eggs vanilla & lemon extracts until light & fluffy.

In a separate bowl, combine, flour, & baking soda. Gradually add flour mixture to egg mixture until well blended.

Divide dough into 4 pieces. Shape each into an 8" - 10" roll. Wrap each in piece of waxed paper, place in freezer container with air tight lid. Will store for up to 6 months

To bake: cut frozen dough into ¼ inch slices, bake on a lightly greased cookie sheet 8 10 minutes in a 350 degree oven.

You can replace the lemon extract with one square melted bakers chocolate if you want chocolate cookies.

First go out and take a cereal bowl and fill it with clean slow. Next make a mixture of half a cup of milk, sugar, and vanilla extract. MIx the mixture until the sugar is disolved. POur about 1\2 of the mixture into the bowl. If it is not enough pour the rest or as much as needed. Then mix it and enjoy your ice-cream!

2. Mix up an Ice Cream recipe (or use Ice Cream mix)
