Ice, as it causes bruising to go down.
I had my nose re-shaped when I was 19, I am now 22 and my nose still is swelled up most days when I wake up, but the swelling goes down as day approaches night!Appearantly it takes years for the swelling to go down completely but with bruises and scars, a few months after surgery they shouldn't be seen. Swelling of the nose is the major issue that people complain about and time is the answer.
Swelling is normal for a new piercing.
If its new, the swelling could just make it look crooked. If there isnt any swelling and it still looks off, you'll probably have to get it repierced.
You actually have to go see a doctor for that and they will remove it for you. Depending how big it is and where it is located you might need a specialist.
it does depend on the type of ur skin,it takes usually between 12 even up to 24 month.dorsum is the first and the tip of the nose is the last part that it's swelling goes down.
Chronic sinusitis
Punch Their Nose!
Yes, when hanging upside down, gravity affects the distribution of blood and other fluids in the body. This can cause increased pressure in the veins of the head and face, leading to congestion and swelling of the nasal passages. The increased accumulation of blood in the head region can make the nose feel inferior to the mouth in this position.
Nose PiercingOkay, hum, when you get your nose pierced, it swells, but only on the inside of your nose. The swelling is going down most probably. But I would go see a Doctor, just to be on the safe side.(:
Common cold
Yes swelling can make the nose look bigger. Wait 9-12 months before deciding if the nose is too big.
Ice is about it. Consider taking one of the popular NSAID painkillers too -- aspirin, acetaminophen or ibuprofen. All of these are anti-inflamatories. If there's a chance the nose is broken, see a doc -- broken noses that set incorrectly can make breathing difficult in the years to come. ice for sure
