I've made a couple of grips for guns, and for me it seem fairly stright foward. 1st. use old grips as a pattern an transfer to card stock, use transfer punches for your screw holes for a perfect line-up, pay close attention to safety clip and the slide for clearance, pick the type of wood you like, (most exotic woods are dense, hard, heavy, and in many cases oily, which can lead to finishing problems, many domestic woods have spectacular grain in crotches, burls, etc.) now transfer the template to your wood and work down each grip with wood rasps and files, finish up with sandpaper,( start with 120 grit, 150 grit, 220 grit, 320 grit, 400 grit, "DO NOT SKIP ANY GRIT SIZES"[optional] 600 grit and finish with 1-3 coats of polyurethane and buff. (I suggested the poly because it stands up-to wear & tear extremely well. Good-Luck!
yes it will. all parts are interchangable
You can purchase 1911 grips at websites such as Gunbroker and Skingripz. You might also be able to find some locally at specialized gun stores such as the Army Barracks.
yes Most Gbb 1911s will take real steal pistol stocks/hand grips. Some slight modification may be required, But very little if any.

To put grips on a bike, first remove the old grips by cutting or twisting them off. Then, apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol or soapy water to the handlebars to make it easier to slide on the new grips. Finally, slide the new grips onto the handlebars and make sure they are secure before riding.
