How do you paint a leather pillow?

You have to paint it but have a light in the distance that will cast a texture on it and use diffrent shades of the color but make them semi close to each other and start with pencial and drawing the easy shapes that make it up like basic shapes work on the outside and drawing that then work on the detial.

You can actually use acrylic paint to paint on leather pillows. My mom is all into that kind of stuff and she actually has a small buisness called "pillow talk" where she paints quotes onto pillows. Im not sure if the pillows she uses are leather, but I know that she uses acrylic paints. I am sure that acrylic paint would stick to leather. hope that was a helpful answer!

Leather is usually dyed rather than painted. Most paints don't adhere all that well to leather, and since leather is flexible, paint tends to crack and peel off.

If you really want to paint leather, you're better off buying a paint specifically designed for the purpose rather than trying to make one yourself.
