How do you play multiplayer in dead island?

Firstly, change your settings to invite only or joinable if not done so. This will allow players to come into your game invited or not invited.

On the main menu, you can select to search for a joinable game, just select that.

At the main menu there is an option in the options menu that says ONLINE or whatever but switch your mode from single player to online,multiplayer, or co-op sorry I'm not giving straight up answers but I hope this helps somehow

In 3D, you automatically join multiplayer, to exit multiplayer press f1 to open menu, click on options, click on the multiplayer bullet and vice-verse to reneter multiplayer.

At the main menu you have the option for multiplayer, just press the button and you can get onto multiplayer as long as you have itnernet connection.
