Intermittent power issues with the ignition switch in a 1972 Plymouth Road Runner could be due to a faulty ignition switch itself, poor electrical connections, or a failing battery. Start by checking the wiring and connections for corrosion or looseness, as these can disrupt the electrical flow. Additionally, consider testing the ignition switch with a multimeter to ensure it's functioning properly. If the issue persists, further investigation of the wiring harness or related components may be necessary.
