its under the dash on the passanger side, look for it next to the blower motor, it has 5 or 6 wires and is held into place by 2 small screws 8mm if I remember right, its a 15 min job
Fig 15 Blower Motor ResistorNOTE: The blower motor resistor is located on the lower right side of the heater housing.REMOVAL# Remove lower right underpanel silencer/duct. # Disconnect wiring connectors on blower motor resistor. # Remove blower motor resistor retaining screws. # Pull blower motor resistor out of heater housing.
It is behind the glove box. Remove the glove box door and there are 2 screws that hold the resistor in.
The Resistor is located on the outside of the blower motor. Have to remove the blower from under the glovebox to get to it. The Resistor is located on the outside of the blower motor. Have to remove the blower from under the glovebox to get to it.

On my 2002 it is mounted in the blower housing that is on the front passenger side above where the foot area is, may have to remove a panel to see it, some wires are plugged into it and two screws hold it in place. When mine failed only the hi speed setting would work.
The a/c heater blower motor resister is located in the vehicle on the passengers side inside the housing next to the blower motor...............Remove the blower motor resistor wire harness connector.Remove the blower motor resistor screws.Remove the blower motor resistor.
It's right behind your glove box. My kids replaced it. Remove the glove box. It's easy to unplug and plug in the new one. Approx $80- 100 from your Chrysler dealer. ( If it fails your blower works on its default with fan at full speed and not adjustable ) That is the front blower motor resistor which is located behind the glove box; the rear blower motor resistor (for cars equipped with the rear blower switch) the resistor is located below the final rear passenger window, to the right of the bench. In order to gain access to it you will need to remove the bench and a few trim pieces.
Pull out the lock on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector to unlock the connector latch . Depress the latch on the blower motor resistor wire harness connector and disconnect the connector from the resistor. Remove the two screws that secure the blower motor resistor block to the HVAC housing. Remove the resistor block from the HVAC housing............
You have a bad blower resistor. it is located directly behind the blower motor on the passenger side of the vehicle. You must first disconnect blower motor from bad resistor. Lower and remove blower. It won't be easy but remove the screws holding the resistor, disconnect the resistor and remove it. Cost is approximately $40 for a new one.
