You have to remove the tail light first, and to do this you have to take the 3 screws on the tail light, open the trunk,and remove the plastic cover on the side to have access to the back of the tail light remove the 3 screw and pull the light toward the outside (slide it to the side, if you are taking the left taillight out slide the tail light toward the left, if you are doing the right side slide it toward the right side, this is the only way to have access to the bulb, the first time I did take like 3 minutes
