Q: quelle est votre nationalité ?
A: je suis américain / anglais / français / ....
RSVP is a French term / phrase asking you to respond. You don't need to respond is "French".
Nationality means what country you're from. i.e., if you are talking to someone from russia they would be Russian. If you are talking to someone from England they would be English. It depends who you are asking.
To ask what is someone's nationality in French, you can say: "de quelle nationalité es-tu (you singular and familiar) / êtes-vous (you formal or plural)" or "de quel pays es-tu" (less formal, would be more used in conversation). To answer the question, say "je suis +nationality", or "je viens de +country".
Responde Sil Vous Plait. It is french and translates to respond if you will , or, if you please.
By asking, and them telling you they're Jamaican. You can't just look at someone and tell their nationality.
If someone asks ¿Cómo se llama? they are asking what your name is. You would respond by saying: Me llamo (insert name).
"Repondez s'il vous plait" is French for "please respond". So on invitations never write "Please RSVP" because you will be asking the invitee to "Please please respond".
Why are you asking us? Get off your lazy butt and ask someone that sell french plates!
"Eres de Cuba" in Spanish means "You are from Cuba." It is a statement asking about someone's nationality or place of origin.
There is always the possibility that the person is busy and cant respond quickly or that they didn't receive the text. I would send another text asking if they received the first one. If there is still no response, I wouldn't bother to try again.
If you don't know how to ask them just that in their native tongue, try asking them in English. If they know English, they will understand and respond to you.
if someone is french kissing it would be open-mouthed which would be easy to spot... i wouldn't know why someone would be asking a question like this... stare at people making out umm ok then but have fun...
