This is very large tent, but very easy to put up, I have 5 of them. You need to put a tarp or something protective under this tent, it has very thin floors, its great on grass but if you are on rocks it WILL make holes in the bottom (thats the voice of experience.) Stake out the 4 corners of the tent, use the black web loops for the stakes. You will need to stake the other sections also now or later does not matter. There are 4 long poles and 1 rain fly pole. First put the 4 long poles together. put the first 2 poles in the pockets for the back section then the other 2 poles in the pockets for the front section. Start with the back section first by bring the first 2 poles up and putting the ends on the aluminum stick, then do the front section. Your almost finished. Add the rain fly pole to the rain fly. The pockets for the ends to stick into are right above the door and back window. the fly attach's at the bottom with hooks the the black plastic D ring things. Finish by staking the flap out. Every time I've used this tent it has rained and it stays dry inside!! Happy camping
It is an instant set up it takes about 60 seconds.
