You test for oxygen in science lab by fillinga trough with some water (cover the spout on the bottom) then fill some collecting containers w/ water. in a flask mix hydrogen peroxide and maganese dioxide. use a thisle tube (connect to the trough) collect the oxygen. To test for it light a wooden splint on fire. then blow it out. stick it under one of the collecting bottles. If tehre is oxygen present it should start on fire.
