I am actually wondering the same thing but I do know the answer. To win gold you must... -have trained very hard, know the routines, and be able to be a performer -be confident! This probably isn't your first time at a meet and know that you will be okay! - don't be nervous! Being too nervous will defiantly hurt you, but being a little nervous will do you some good! -have fun! This is really why you're competing isn't it? You need to know that everything will be fine as long as you know you are doing this for fun! - be prepared physically and mentally! Have all of your things especially remember your grips! Be prepared to win and be prepared to lose! You can't be perfect all the time! -overall, just know that you'll be fine and you will do just fine! GOOD LUCK AT YOUR MEET AND WISH ME LUCK AT MINE:) - (but as my wise math teacher said,"it is better to be good than lucky." :)
