Pet rabbits, including Satins, don't live very long in the wild: a couple of years at most, and they don't live happy or healthy lives.

Pet rabbits have lost many of their instincts, so they don't know how to find good food, make good homes, or escape predators. Pet rabbits also aren't adapted to their environment, so the right kind of food and shelter may not even be available, and they can't survive harsh weather.

If you have rabbits you can't care for anymore, take them to a shelter or rescue organisation: don't "release" them into the wild. If you keep rabbits outside or ever take them outside, make sure they can't escape.
