It depends on how much moisture is in the mulch
The weight of 2 cubic feet of wood mulch typically ranges from 20 to 40 pounds, depending on the type of wood and its moisture content. On average, you can expect around 30 pounds for this volume. Keep in mind that different types of mulch, such as bark or shredded wood, may vary slightly in weight.

The weight of wood chips can vary, but on average, 1 cubic yard of wood chips weighs about 400-500 pounds. Therefore, 1000 cubic yards of wood chips would roughly equal 400-500 tons.
Tons of what? Air? Water? Iron? Wood? ......
Usually 20 to 23 tons, depending on what the tare weight of the combination is. Although I do believe wood chips are sold by the cubic yard, rather than by the ton.
To convert cubic meters to metric tons, you would need to know the density of the wood chips. Different types of wood chips have different densities, so this information is needed to provide an accurate conversion. Once you have the density, you can use the formula: weight (ton) = volume (cubic meters) x density (ton/cubic meter).
how many yards are in a ton of wood chips 2000 pounds equals a ton 500 lbs equals one yard 4 yards equals one ton 9000 lbs equals 4.5 tons not 2.5 tons (typo error)
Yes, from what I have heard it is.Rubber mulch is easy to handle and install and is said to last 5 times longer than the standard wood mulch.

By a scoop, I assume you mean a front-end loader bucket. When you purchase mulch from a garden center, or supply yard, the buckets used are typically 1 CUBIC YARD, or what we call a "Yard", that would be 27 cubic feet. A 10' x 10' area would require 1 Yard applying the mulch at 4" deep (that's 25 cubic feet).
