Remove the valve cover, the gasket is reusable but check it anyways.Undo the fuel line to that particular injector. Pull the tube that the line was screwed onto out of the head and be sure to use a new one when you install another injector plus get a new o-ring for it. Undo the bolt that is holding the injector clamp to the head. Pull out the injector using a suitable prying tool if you arenèt using the Cummins tool. Its not in there very hard. Be sure the copper sealing gasket on the bottom of the injector comes out too. Replace it with a new one. Reverse the procedure to install. Do not overtighten the injector hold down bolt.
