Assuming you want to remove the soft top, undo all the zippers & snaps. then, you will notice there are snaps on the inside upper part of the rear flap, unsnap those too. inside the sides of the rear flap are black straps. undo the velcro & remove. Open doors & at the inner top you will see a vlcro flap along the top across the door. Undo this. then, on the sides of the suzuki, behind doors, is a groove & slip system. just pull the whole top upward & it should slide up & out. The front windshield tongue & groove just comes right out. The rear upper support bar frame lifts up & push it towards cab. Roll the top up & it stores between the tailgate & rear seats. hope this helps you. ty, jaypmcwilliams

Yes, a hard top can fit on a Suzuki Samurai that originally has a soft top, but it typically requires some modifications. The mounting hardware and brackets may need to be adjusted or replaced to ensure a secure fit. Additionally, some models may have differing dimensions, so it's essential to verify compatibility before making the switch. Always consult with a knowledgeable mechanic or parts specialist for the best results.

To remove the soft top from a Suzuki Sidekick, start by unzipping the rear window and removing any side and rear window panels. Next, unsnap or unclip the top from the frame, typically found near the windshield and along the sides. If your model has any additional fasteners, such as straps or screws, ensure they are also detached. Finally, carefully fold the soft top away from the vehicle and store it safely.
Besttop used to make such a top. A friend of mine owns one. I tried to find a similar one from Besttop but all I finally got was a bikinitop.
To convert a soft top Suzuki Vitara into a hard top, you'll need to first remove the soft top and any associated hardware. Then, locate a compatible hard top designed for your Vitara model; ensure it includes all necessary mounting brackets and seals. Carefully position the hard top onto the vehicle, aligning it with the mounting points, and secure it using the provided hardware. Finally, check for any gaps or leaks and make adjustments as needed to ensure a snug fit.
