Depends on the type of car but normally if you have removable ducts they usually just pull apart from behind the vents, sometimes it may be necessary to partially remove the dash. but if the coins worked their way to the heater/evaporator case then it will have to be removed and taken apart. which can be expensive and/or labor intensive. If its not that you need the money, but, that its just annoying, then remove them, but, if its neither I would leave them in there. there's a good chance they will not cause any problems and the most would be keeping a mode door from closing tightly and only then would I remove them.
