Polyester has a very good elasticity. It can be blended with natural fibres to improve its properties

Polyester Georgette is fabric used to make clothing. Georgette is a shear lightweight crepe similar to chiffon. It is woven from yarns made of silk, rayon, or polyester threads. When it is made from polyester, it is known as Polyester Georgette.
A recent experience attempting to dye 100% polyester product was a no-go. However I did change the colour by using artists acrylic paints to do the job. It worked and does not wash out!!
